  First visit, only planned on having a drink, ended up having the carvery. Lovely food and very helpful, friendly staff. Recommend booking for a Sunday lunchtime. Will be going back

  Great cosy pub in a beautiful location with lovely food and a nice atmosphere. Good choice of beer, wine and ales - would definitely recommend.

  Sunday lunch (Dec2016). Although the pub was very busy, we were sat and given a menu straight away by friendly staff. We opted for the buffet which offered turkey, pork or roast beef. My plate was high with roasties as I walked away. Overall the food was good. The cost for 2 roast dinners and a couple of pints was just over £30, so good value. I would definitely eat here again.
